Bio

I am a Postdoc in MBZUAI, working with Prof. Hao Li. I received my Ph.D. from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), advised by Prof. Pascal Fua. Prior to that, I obtained my M.S. from Purdue University in 2019, and my B.S. from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2016.

My research focuses on 3D vision and digitization, with particular emphasis on 3D object representation and reconstruction, geometric computing, and physics-based simulation. I am interested in integrating geometric modeling, optimization and data-driven approaches to develop efficient and interpretable methods for understanding, modeling and generating complex 3D objects and scenes.

I will be joining the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in July 2026.

Openings:

I am actively recruiting Research Assistants, Master's and PhD students with strong backgrounds in mathematics or physics, as well as solid programming skills. Visiting students are also welcome. If you are interested, please feel free to contact me with your CV and a brief research statement.
