I am a Tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Prior to joining SUSTech, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at MBZUAI, where I worked with Prof. Hao Li. I received my Ph.D. from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), advised by Prof. Pascal Fua.
Before that, I obtained my M.S. from Purdue University in 2019, and my B.S. from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2016.
My research focuses on 3D vision and digitization, with particular emphasis on 3D object representation and reconstruction, geometric computing, and physics-based simulation. I am interested in integrating geometric modeling, optimization and data-driven approaches to develop efficient and interpretable methods for understanding, modeling and generating complex 3D objects and scenes.
